best dressed at the people’s choice awards

As promised, I will be making more of an effort to report on the red carpets this year. Fortunately, I haven’t had to wait long at all, with the People’s Choice Awards held today (Australian time) in Los Angeles. If you want to know who won, you can view the full list here.
The awards ceremony is less formal than most so there were lots of shorter frocks gracing the blue carpet. The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco was a notable exception, using her belted floor-length frock to hide the leg she broke back in September in a horse riding accident.
Designer J. Mendell is obviously popular with the hot young things right now, with Taylor Swift sporting a peachy concoction by the designer, Black Swan’s Mila Kunis opting for a sleeker khaki number and Malin Akerman choosing a ruffle-skirted white mini.
Honourable mention goes to cutie Selena Gomez for her classy yet age-appropriate pink Paula Ka sheath.
However the sure-to-be-controversial best dressed from me goes to Twilight star and big winner of the awards, Kristen Stewart (pictured). I love how she paired her gold sequinned Reem Acra mini with a casual leather belt and sky high Jimmy Choos – and check out those pins! I think it’s the perfect look for this trendy awards ceremony. Ok, i love Kstew even more now. She looks gorgeous in that dress! Her legs look like they go a mile in that picture. I can’t wait to Breaking Dawn
