plan all your shopping for 2011

January 19, 2011 in fashion

Lifehacker today published a chart that outlines the best time to purchase, well, anything during 2011.

Obviously seasonal purchases need to be swapped for Aussie girls (for example, air-conditioners aren’t on sale in January – try July instead) but as a general rule, this guide is pretty awesome.

Here are my favourite picks for each month regardless of where you live:

January - Digital Frames (Christmas stock surplus)
February - Chocolate (after 14 Feb only…)
March - Luggage (it’s not peak winter OR summer travel time)
April - TVs (Japanese manufacturers need to ditch stock)
May - Laptops (for no apparent reason)
June - Gym memberships (nobody is making resolutions)
July – Furniture (old stock needs to be cleared)
August - Computers (new models are about to come out)
September - Cars (again, old stock needs to clear)
October - Toys (Christmas kick-off sales)
November - Alfoil and plastic wrap (apparently…)
December - Wedding dresses (Christmas weddings are rare)

Check out the full list at Lifehacker and plan all of your shopping for 2011 in advance.
