Can you believe that cooler weather clothes are already hitting the stores? I must admit that while I’m not ready to wear them, I am excited to see some more tailored shapes and a little less of that 70s vibe we’ve been getting this summer.
Out of the new stock I’ve seen this week, I’m really lusting for this trench – but it’s been a scorching 33 degrees here in Geneva this week and I’m sweating just thinking about putting it on!
So instead, I’ve opted for this trans-seasonal strapless number from Anthropologie. I love the colours and the Monet-esque flowers – and I’m always a fan of dresses that come with detachable belts that I can use in other outfits. Best of all, it’s a silk blend so it would be light enough to wear even in the current heatwave!

I’m totally with you – im also excited to see more tailoring. There are so many things from the Anthro catalogue that i am lusting after..makes me wish i could have stayed in the US a week longer!
@vintageglammz – I have the same feeling about my trip to London – if only I could’ve stuck around a bit longer! Still, I’m sure we’ll both find ways to ensure those tailored goodies make their way to our wardrobes…
