lusting for: reiss lauren leather jacket

Surely I’m not the only one who feels a strong desire to buy clothing when the style name is the same as my own. So many brands use female names for their products and whenever a “Lauren” pops up, I always want it! (Is this perhaps part of their marketing strategy?)
The latest “Lauren” to cross my path is the gorgeous grey leather jacket from British chain, Reiss.
It doesn’t hurt that I’ve been looking for a light coloured biker jacket for a while now, and I adore the quilted sleeves and rose gold zips on this one.
Then again, at £375 / $710 / €465, I might have to keep this “Lauren” on my lust list until sale time (or second cut sale… or third cut sale…)

Love it! Be warned though, I bought a dove grey biker style jacket a year and a half ago and i don’t wear it very often. Mines not leather and the style is cropped (for my short body), but i don’t find myself reaching for it as often as i thought i would. For some reason i always like a ligher top and a darker jacket, and i find the light grey tricky to wear with lots of things. But if you love, love LOVE it – it’s worth the price for a leather jacket you’ll have for ever! xx
