oxfam curiosity shop celebrity auction

A selection of benevolent stars have partnered with Oxfam and Selfridges to set-up, stock and staff Britain’s biggest charity pop-up shop.

Celebrity donations include Carey Mulligan’s Vionette dress from this year’s Bafta Awards, Alexa Chung’s Mulberry skirt suit, Elle Macpherson’s Christian Dior boots and Annie Lennox’s Nicole Farhi dress to name but a few. The Oxfam Curiosity Shop in the Selfridges’ Ultralounge (lower ground floor) will be also staffed by the celebrities.

Auction pieces will be added from 10am GMT on Thursday 13th May until the auction closes at 3pm GMT on Thursday 20th May. All proceeds will go to Oxfam’s women’s projects across the world to protect, support and empower vulnerable women including campaigning against violence, empowering them to fight HIV and AIDS, and offering the poorest girls the chance of education.

See all the celebrity items for sale at vogue.co.uk or find more information at oxfam.org.uk.
