in the news: gap stores coming to oz
The rumours are true – Gap (that all-American brand we know and love) will be opening its first Australian store in Melbourne’s Chadstone Mall this August. Over the next three to four years, the company plans to open another 10-15 stores across the country including one in Sydney’s Pitt Street Westfield centre.
I’m excited because I’m a big fan of the Gap’s basic tanks and, at this time of the year, I love to snuggle up in their cozy knits (like the knit hoodie in today’s photo, on sale for US$69.95).
No word yet on whether the expansion means we can expect Banana Republic and Old Navy stores down under as well but hopefully the sister stores will follow. H&M take note – Australia is the place to be!
