One of the things I love most about Mad Men is that they keep it real to true life (for example, the set furniture was selected to include pieces from the 1950s and 1940s as well as the 60s because nobody has all brand new pieces in their house) and they will be sticking to that philosophy with this season’s fashion.
We can expect to see a few mod influences pop in but none of our favourite ladies will be completely revamping their style. “It’s like anybody’s life, you add pieces to your closet but you’re not changing your whole style with every trend,” says the show’s costume designer, Janie Bryant.

I also recommend checking out the LA Times Magazine’s interview with the stunning Christina Hendricks, who plays Joan (my favourite character). The photos accompanying the interview are to die for – check them out here.
Tune in for the Season 4 premiere of Mad Men on AMC next Saturday.
