Milk from a Thistle is a unique Sydney brand designed by Danielle Atkinson. The brand’s signature is fabulous hand-painted and digital prints on easy-to-wear garments.

Danielle says she takes her cue from her love of design, rather than current fashion trends, and she loves scouring second hand stores for inspirational gems such as vintage prints and children’s books.

The current range has a bit of a retro vibe, which is obviously right on cue this season. I’m personally loving the Sophia Silk Skirt in Stallion Print (right). Isn’t it just divine?
