It looks like Meryl Streep is about to add another role to her already very impressive resume and I’m willing to put it out there now and say I think this role will earn her yet another Oscar nomination.

The Iron Lady tells the story of Margaret Thatcher’s rise to become Britain’s only female Prime Minister and the price she paid to get to the top. Check out the teaser trailer below for the first look.

The film is due to be released on 16 December in the US, 26 December in Australia and 6 January in the UK.
