Ok, Twihards – this one is for you (and I know a lot of you must be closet fans because Twilight-related posts always get a lot of hits!)

Here’s the first teaser trailer that gives you a look at freshly vamped-up Bella. Check it out and let me know your thoughts!

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be released on 15 November in Australia and 16 November in the US and UK.

in the news: buy bella’s wedding dress

*A friend got married today and she’s also a big Twilight fan so this post is for her!*

Back in June, we discussed how Bella Swan would wear a Carolina Herrera wedding gown in Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

Now that the film is out, you can buy a replica of her dress from Alfred Angelo (though the design apparently has the blessing of the original designer).

The replica of Bella’s gown will set you back just $799, which is cheaper than the royal replica from ABS by Allen Schwarz. Interestingly, both dresses feature lace sleeves, so I’m sure we’ll see a lot of brides wearing that trend over the next few years.

If you would rather wait for the real thing, Carolina Herrera will start selling the “original” through her boutiques next year. No word on the price yet, but let’s assume it will be significantly more than the Alfred Angelo version.

What do you think of Bella’s gown? Would you wear a replica down the aisle?

I know Twihards will already have scrutinised this trailer in detail but it’s time to pay attention to what will no doubt be one of the biggest grossing films of the year.

In bonus Twilight news, today we heard that brides-to-be will be able to buy their own version of Bella’s Carolina Herrera wedding dress thanks to Alfred Angelo (yes, that would be the wedding dress that nobody has seen yet and won’t see for another three months).

Check out the trailer below – if you’ve read the book, there are no surprises but movie-only fans might get a bit of a shock.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 (how’s that for a title?) will be released in Australian cinemas on 17 November before hitting the screens in the UK and USA on 18 November.

in the news: carolina herrera for twilight

While Bella’s wedding gown in the next installment of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn, may not be as hotly anticipated as the Duchess of Cambridge’s dress was earlier this year, there was still quite a bit of speculation about who would design her gown.

Earlier this week, production company Summit Entertainment confirmed that the dress was designed by Carolina Herrera.

Of course, now everybody is looking to the designer’s runway collection for ideas, with the pictured gown being touted as favourite across the blogosphere.

While in the book, Bella’s dress was described as quite traditional in style, I guess we will have to wait and see how the screen adaption goes. No doubt there will be great demand for the vampy gown, just as there was for the engagement ring.

Twihards will have to wait until 18 November to see the wedding gown in all its glory on the big screen.
